Guided road cycling tour in the Auvergne as of 10 cyclists
This cycling tour will introduce cyclists to the highly varied landscapes of the Auvergne. Not only the volcanic area of the Chaînes des Puys, but also the deserted plateau of the Cézallier and the largest volcano in Europe - the Cantal. Every day cyclists can choose out of at least 5 different distances. This trip also includes 1 rest day. For that day we obviously have also created a nice tour for the really enthusiastic cyclists.

Arrival and preparation
The first day everyone is expected in Le Mont-Dore. We will personally welcome you.
1st stage: on your way to St. Floret
A nice stage to start with. Depending on the distance one or more cols and more or less meters of climbing will be covered today in a very beautiful and varied landscape. The longer distances come through historic Saint-Saturnin. Our final location St. Floret is a beautiful small village.
2st stage: St. Floret-Massiac
Most routes today pass through the beautifully empty and rugged landscape of the Cézallier. Did you know that this is one of the favorite training areas of local hero Romain Bardet? The shortest distances cycle quietly along the Alagnon River for the last 15 km, while the longer distances cover some extra meters of climbing. We stay in a hotel in Massiac.
3rd stage: Massiac-Murat
A stage through the Cantal area. The Cantal is largely formed by an ancient volcano with a diameter of no less than 60 km. Today a lot of small cols can climbed without too much effort!
Rest day or round trip
Today we do not pack our bags; we stay in Murat and you have the choice between a rest day or a nice round trip.
4th stage: Murat-Condat
Another day of cycling through the Cantal and a day with many possiblities. All distance variants have the possibility to climb the Col du Pas de Peyrol (the Puy Mary). A col known from the Tour de France.
5th stage: Condat-Le Mont-Dore
Already the last stage. Today we again will visit the Cézallier area, but of course not on the same roads as during the 3rd stage. The trip ends for everyone with the Col de Croix St Robert. Before the start of this climb a cola stop can be held in Besse, a beautiful medieval village.
Accommodation & support
The accommodations during this trip are comfortable hotels where the inner man is very well looked after! We will also try to find the group somewhere during the day so that bottles can be refilled and something can be eaten.
Guided round trip
This group trip can be booked with us by groups of 10 people or more. For groups of up to 10 participants, we would like to refer to our race cycling tour.
