The immediate surroundings of our accommodation in Le Mont-Dore offer endless hiking possibilities. The originally volcanic Sancy plateau is a true paradise for walkers. A unique location with large open spaces, rough nature and an extremely diverse landscape, fauna and flora.

Sign posted walking trails

In this diverse environment over 670 km of sign posted hiking trails are waiting for you. From short but never the less beautiful routes for the whole family to more challenging day trips. The GR4 and the GR30 are only a few kilometers away from Les Camélias and the GR4E even runs along our garden.

Tip: think of Les Camélias during autumn. The autumn colours are just fantastic.
